Mandy Clementi, who has been with Propel for ten years and is their financial accountant, explains: “We used to manually process our contractors’ timesheets using hand-signed PDF documents. These would be emailed to us, processed, and then attached to our invoices to clients. It was time-consuming and open to errors.”

It’s quicker, slicker, and line managers can approve timesheets online rather than dealing with printed or scanned documents. This has streamlined the processing in finance significantly, making us much more efficient at issuing invoices.”

The approval process has been vastly improved. “Prompting line managers to approve is now just pressing a button in ETZ, instead of manually writing and sending email reminders. Disputes over approvals have also been eliminated because it’s secure, transparent and can’t be altered,” says Mandy Clementi.

She continues: “We send our onboarding packages out through ETZ as well. It’s all in one place and syncs seamlessly, creating a much nicer and slicker experience. Self-billing is a recently introduced feature which further reduces admin work for contractors.”

It has improved efficiencies tenfold on the contract desk. We’ve made a huge saving on time. My assistant, who works four days a week, has been freed up to take on other tasks. Now that we’ve introduced self-billing as well, it’s freed up even more of their time from processing contractor invoices.
